Compliments
Joy provided knowledge and confidence in a kind, empathetic and supportive manner. As a new mom, I had a lot of questions and concerns and Joy was so calm, supportive and non-judgmental that I felt immediately comfortable. She helped ease my anxieties around every aspect of being a new mom. With many years of postpartum experience, Joy is well educated, skilled and a valuable resource. Joy's provided a service that was invaluable.
I will always remember Joy Ceniza from my time at CPMC, giving birth to our son back in 2013. Honestly, of all the staff, she is the only person I remember. (aside from my OBGYN) I had a last minute C section and had to stay at the hospital a few days longer than those that don’t have C sections. Joy was patient, compassionate and took care of me with tenderness and care. I was in pain from the surgery and had a hard time getting in and out of the bed and she was always there to assist me. She helped with the breast feeding sessions I had with my son and checked in on me throughout the day/night. She will always play a special part of my experience giving birth to our son. We still keep in touch today and she has been able to see my son grow up over these years.
For over 5 years, Joy has been my own personal baby guru. The care and advice she gave me as a postpartum patient after the birth of my daughter was so wonderful I continued to seek out her advice even after I left the hospital. From her experience as a registered nurse and as a mother she knows exactly what babies need. Just as importantly, she understands what new mamas need to give their babies the best care.
Joy’s years of experience as a registered nurse would make her a tremendous asset to any family. Her expertise in newborn infant care and postpartum knowledge is what sets her apart from anyone in the field. I have known Joy for many years and her professionalism and commitment to excellence is second to none.
Joy was incredibly kind, helpful and professional during my postpartum stay with my second child at CPMC. I had a very difficult first pregnancy. Joy's knowledge and guidance brought much needed comfort and assurance of care, for both me and my son. She has an amazing way of telling you the truth, while also encouraging you to make the right choices that are best for you.
Joy cared for me when I had my son Jacob. I was a new mom and terrified. She made my husband and I feel at ease, we were first time parents and didn’t know much about caring for a newborn aside from classes and books we read. Joy was very patient, she answered all of our questions and made sure we had all the information, supplies, and most importantly the confidence to take our newborn home. She took wonderful care of us and I will always be grateful for her.
